Our Approach

Educational Perspectives

Our instruction follows scientific evidence-based guidelines from the world’s leading resuscitation authorities, delivered by internationally qualified faculty.

Teaching Philosophy

How We Teach

Every course follows a structured adult-learning model that builds confidence through repetition, simulation and constructive feedback.

01
Evidence-Based Guidelines
All instruction follows the scientific evidence-based guidelines of the American Heart Association (AHA) and the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
02
Simulated Clinical Scenarios
Participants lead multiple simulated patient scenarios under instructor observation. This practical, case-based format builds real muscle memory and decision-making ability that transfers directly to clinical practice.
03
Constructive Feedback
Every scenario is followed by positive and constructive debriefing. Instructors guide participants to self-discover gaps in their knowledge and technique, reinforcing confidence alongside competence.
04
Pre-Course Preparation
Study materials are provided before the course begins. This ensures that classroom time is focused on applied practice rather than passive information transfer, maximising the value of every contact hour.
05
Small Class Sizes
Student to Instructor ratio 8 Students : 1 Instructor. Small groups allow instructors to give personalised attention to each participant and ensure sufficient hands-on practice time for all.
06
Internationally Recognised Credentials
Successful participants receive internationally recognised certifications from the AHA, ITLS International, or the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa, with HPCSA CPD credits awarded for continuing professional development.
